"The vineyards are almost exclusively composed of south-facing slopes on the Montagne de Reims. The vineyards of Bouzy, as well as those of Aÿ and the neighbouring Ambonnay, are the source of some of the most influential Pinot Noir Champagne wines." - Aurélien Dauvergne.
It is in family that the wines are aged. François Dauvergne having transmitted his passion, it is now Aurélien and Maxime's turn to follow the path. Champagne Aurélien Dauvergne and Champagne Maxime Dauvergne are only sold to private customers. Pinot Noir, the historical grape variety of the Dauvergne family's terroir, plays an important role on their estate. An ideal complement, Chardonnay brings finesse and freshness to their blends.
The Dauvergne family also offers two prestigious Beaujolais wines: Saint-Amour and Moulin-à-Vent.
